Welcome to the Mount Moon. Originally founded in 1998. We’re a Pokemon fansite for information on the games, anime, toys and other things. The focus of the site will be on the games, toys and other items from that first era of Pokemon from the late 90s to early 2000s.
Our specialty will be obscure hardware and software and gadgets from this era or inspired by this era.
Our History
Mount Moon was my first website and originally hosted on Angelfire (One of the early free webhosts; they were around the same time as Geocities and Lycos). Our original webpage is still online, albeit with a lot of broken links and images. We were originally named Pokemon Universe before eventually being renamed Mount Moon Pokemon Center and having that shortened to Mount Moon. We were online from 1998 to around 2003 or so (when the site was unexpectedly deleted). After a 15 year hiatus, we’re back online. I started this webpage back in 1998 as a hobby and it progressed alongside my basic programming skills. The internet archive manages to preserve some of the old webpages though I’ve lost a lot of the old code. Pokemon and this website hold a special place in my heart over the decades.
I hope to get the page up and running again and hope to see you back often.
